Councillor Ahmad Hendricks has been working hand in hand with Al Mamana, a 10 year old NPO, based on a 15000 s.q. farm.in New Lentegeur. Al Mamana works in the community and serves the people with food, old people’s forum, and youth activities.
Service delivery is at the core of their daily business operandi, delivering to the best of their ability to assist: the elderly with high water bills, indigent grants and reconciliation accounts.
We expand the Al Jama-ah footprint by working with other parties such as the ACDP.(Charlotte Williams).
We do everything from assisting families with food parcels, and those who have lost their homes with relief supplies, and counselling. They also work with Master Genius Leadership Academy assisting slower learners in all areas of education.
A Mamana believes that each individual should be their own person with a set of values that will determine their destiny. The individual is part of a community and should assist where possible. If we all work together we will yield sustainability and no one should be left behind. We need to work together to eradicate poverty and create safe environment.
