We will attend to the service delivery needs of Ward 30 by ensuring that all structures attend to our respective request. Establishing a good working relationship with the relevant structures in order.
Social Welfare
The welfare of society especially of those segments of society that are underprivileged or disadvantaged because of poverty, poor education, unemployment, etc. Our aim is to develop feeding scheme programs, soup kitchens and various aid programs which will assist the community so that we may further restore balance within the Ward.
Drug & Alcohol Abuse
The impact of drug and alcohol abuse begins in the home, extends into the community, and often affects society as a whole. Therefore, we aim to establish various support groups and counselling services. This will certainly reduce the impact substantially.
Gender-based violence
Gender-based violence is violence directed against a person on the basis of gender. It constitutes a breach of the fundamental rights to life, liberty, security, dignity, equality between women and men. We will assist victims of gender based violence, domestic violence to the relevant departments and provide them with the necessary support.

We are passionate about promoting micro business and small business especially for young people that will make full use of the opportunity provided by the portfolio committee of which AI Jamah-ah serves. Opportunities for Mitchells Plain has already been secured. At the moment we have seven programs and this will escalate to 20 programs.
Legal Services
Establishing a paralegal office within the ward in order for the community to have access to the legal system. This office will deal with matters such as maintenance, domestic violence, access to children and labour relates matters etc
In order to achieve success in a situation means that you first need to ‘understand’ I look forward to engage with this ward so that I may understand the challenges and difficulties and then address the concerns accordingly. We will grow and develop into a successful community.
