IT’S TIME TO EXPERIENCE

THE AL JAMA-AH EFFECT

The Al Jama-ah Political Party was established in 2007 by its Party Leader, Ganief Hendricks, that instead of finger pointing, Muslims could play a sincere and positive role, contributing to the transformation of post Apartheid South Africa, for the benefit of all South Africans.

The Constitution of South Africa supports the system of a multi party democracy, as opposed to a single party state. According to The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), domination of one political party in South Africa will be detrimental to freedom in South Africa.

What is best for South Africa is a diversity of political parties with competing policies.
Al Jama-Ah wants to promote a better understanding of our community’s culture and practices in a multicultural and pluralistic society.

By not sacrificing our own value system, but maintaining our identity, sharing not only our faith, but by how much and what else we have to offer in transforming and restoring balance.

As Muslims, the attitude we take in our role as citizens of this country, will determine our impact and participation in the future.  South African Muslims can and must play a vital role by participating in the political arena, shaping the landscape of our country instead of just being mere figures in the landscape.

Al Jama-Ah has great potential to tackle the many social challenges facing the country. South Africa is a nation in the making, and its people have come to accept that we are a multicultural and diverse society.

SAVE PALESTINE = BOYCOTT GENOCIDE

WE STAND FOR PALESTINE

President of Al jama-ah and Deputy Minister Hon.Ganief Hendricks delivers his speech at the mass march, which took place on the 5th October.
The Palestinian march headed by PSC started at 10am from Hanover street, District Six to Parliament.

Hon.Ganief Hendricks extended his continued support and solidarity to the people of Palestine who are facing an ongoing genocide by the apartheid rogue unlawful state of Israel.
“I call the parliaments in South Africa to arm their resistance to Palestine. I invited Hamas to Parliament, I’m not sure whether they got the weapons but soon after my call they came to parliament and in the afternoon, I invited the ANC to have tea with them. Then I went to Iran, and I asked Iran to give weapons, and I went to speak to people of Lebanon and I asked them to give resistance weapons. It’s only weapons that’s going to end the occupation in Palestine.
We know we love the Israeli people, but they are not a state. The state needs to be wiped off the face of the earth. The IDF needs to be wiped off earth. I want to conclude by saying that when Hamas was in Parliament, we recited the Ashraqal and we sent the salaams to the people of Gaza to alleviate their plight. I want you to join me and my beloved Sheikh to recite with me “Ya salaam”.The prayer continued for a short while.

Second Sitting Of The Clearing House

This Act is NOT in the best interests of minor children

During the second sitting of the Clearing house mechanism with the Deputy president Aljama-ah spoke out regarding section 4 and 5 of the Bela Act. In attendance on behalf of Al Jama-ah’s Advocate Yusuf Khan Dalwai, head of legal and member of the NWC, emphasized that the best interests of minor children should always be the primary goals.
Additionally, we also expressed our concerns about criminalising parents for not enrolling their children in school. Over many decades in South Africa, the Muslim community has sent their children to religious studies for 3-4 years before starting school. This should not be removed from the Muslim community, and the provisions should either be relaxed or provisions should be made to accommodated the Muslim community or any other religious faith.
