During constituency period, Member of parliament Advocate Shameemah Salie conducted an oversight at the Turfhall Softball grounds – after several concerns has been raised surrounding conditions of the softball grounds and offices being utilised by City of Cape Town as office space.
There were concerns that rooms were being used for storage, as well as under utilisation of grounds which could easily be a larger benefit to community. And more sporting codes can be accommodated who are desperately in need of infrastructure.
These concerns will be duly escalated by the Al jama-ah political party.
