Join Al Jama-ah Party at its pre-election Western Cape Rally as its President Hon Ganief Hendricks will declare the Party’s official recognition of Palestine as a unitary state: “From the River to the Sea.”

Hendricks says that the Recognition for a unitary state of Palestine will be the Party’s first motion to be submitted in the 7th Parliament: ‘That South Africa becomes the 1st Country to recognize Palestine as a unitary state: “From the River to the Sea.” Other states, such as Norway, Ireland, and Spain recognized Palestine with a view to a two- state notion.

Al Jama-ah’s motion will be the first step to have Palestine recognized as a unitary state; “From the River to the Sea,” for all its freedom loving citizens who honour the sovereignty within it. President Cyril Ramaphosa on several occasions punted the two- state notion.

The event further provides the media with the opportunity to engage with the Party’s Cape Provincial Premier candidate, Professor Muhammed Haron and the Party’s Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Councillor Kabelo Gwamanda.

All are invited to commemorate the event with the Party as it gears up to take issues “From Streets to Seats, Your Choice Matters.”

The Media will have the opportunity to interview Haron and his team who will form part of the Premier’s office should Al Jama-ah win the province; the Executive Mayor will be available for interviews with the media.

The registration of the Muslim Marriages, that is, a Muslim marriage performed according to Sharia (Islamic Law), will further be highlighted during the proceedings.

In July last year, the cabinet approved a Minimalistic Bill that was submitted by Al Jama-ah’s leader and Member of Parliament, Hon Ganief Hendricks for the registration of a Nikah certificate. After more than 300 years, the births, deaths, and Nikahs of Muslims will now appear on the South African National Population Register.

VENUE: DARUL ISLAM HALL, WILHEMUS ROAD, SURREY ESTATE, ATHLONE IN CAPE TOWN
