AL JAMA-AH wishes its visionary leader well on his 75 th Birthday
AL JAMA-AH PARTY wishes its President and Deputy Minister of Social Development,
Hon Ganief Hendricks, a very HAPPY 75 th BIRTHDAY on 14 September 2024.
Hon Hendricks has come from a long journey to start a political party, Al Jama-ah
which was eventually established in 2007. He had a vision for the party to win a
seat in the South African Parliament which materialised in 2019, thus making him
the leader in parliament of the first Muslim political party represented in parliament.
As the party’s sole representative in parliament, he was vociferous in raising
several matters concerning the rights of Muslims, ALL women and children,
people’s right to water and decent employment.
At several sittings in the House, he never hesitated to raise the suffering and the
plight of nations in occupied countries such as Palestine, Kashmir, Western Sahara
and the RIF Republic.
Al Jama-ah is honoured to be led by such an exceptional leader who is truly
“one-of-a-kind.” We wish Hon Hendricks many happy returns and a successful
term as Deputy Minister of Social Development. Your leadership not only inspires
us but encourages us to keep focus to succeed!
