Al Jama-ah strongly condemns the contemptable Zionist lobby’s despicable attempts to silence support for Hamas:
Al Jama-ah Party says it is disgusted though not surprised by the local Zionist lobby’s attempts to silence the anti-Zionists’ voices in support of Hamas that is a Palestinian/Gazan resistance movement.
The Party applauds and commends the recent statement made by the Muslim Judicial Council’s president, Shaikh Riad Fataar; the latter recently expressed his unapologetic support for Hamas. At a gathering in Bo Kaap where the Palestinian journalist, Youmna El-Sayed spoke, Fataar stated: “I am Hamas, Cape Town is Hamas. We support Hamas because it follows the Qur’anic verse in Surah Al Baqarah (2:190), where Allah commands: “Fight those who fight you”.
Al Jama-ah, like many other socio-political and cultural organisations around the globe, recognizes Hamas as a resistance movement against the oppressive rogue Zionist entity; it adopts this stance as was the case when the ANC, PAC, Azapo and NEUM were supported against the cursed apartheid state.
“We condemn the despicable article on Fataar which was published in the South African Jewish Report. We proudly stand fully behind Sh Fataar and views the SAJR article as one of many false sources of information that has been fabricated and misconstrued by the Zionists in their desperate attempts to mislead the narrative around Hamas, as the legitimate resistance movement and that of the Palestinian people,” says Al Jama-ah’s Secretary-General Faried Achmat.
The Party calls on Parliament to implement the 1976 ‘International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid’ which South Africa signed on 17 June 2024. “Al Jama-ah will add Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein and Members of Parliament who are supporting apartheid Israel, making them complicit in the brutal killing and barbaric massacre of thousands of innocent Palestinians.
At present, the party’s legislative drafting team is working on a Private Members Bill (PMB) for the Convention’s anti-apartheid laws’ to be fully implemented and applied in South Africa. In this regard, all those South Africans who have enlisted in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and all Zionists will be contravening the act in their association and support of the pariah state of the Zionists. The party has already hosted a full
Hamas delegation at Parliament which was attended byformer local resistance movements.
Al Jama-ah thus makes a public call on the interfaith ‘National Religious Leaders Forum’ to expel Rabbi Goldstein from the forum. It also wishes to state that all the pro- Zionists organisations that condemned Fataar be blacklisted forthwith; for all of them were quoted in the SAJR they are: the South African Jewish Board of Deputies (SAJBD), South African Zionist Federation (SAZF), and FDD Action; the latter, it is understood, a non-partisan organization that lobbies the United States Congress on national security issues.
The SAJR’s blatant concocted lies and its contrived fabricated reports about Hamas and Palestinians will not sway the minds of the world’s justice-loving people (including Jews for Justice and similar groups) who are against the zionists’ genocidal acts against the Palestinians.
“We support our Ulama (religious leaders) as forerunners in this significant cause that has been hijacked by the Zionists and their ilk; and we outrightly reject the SAJR’s slanted reports as well as the mentioned article that have harmed the image of Sh Fataar. We also use this opportunity of underlining the fact that all of us (anti-Zionists and justice-loving communities) are more than proud to announce to the world that: “YOU are HAMAS, I am HAMAS, WE are ALL HAMAS!”
