AL JAMA-AH strongly condemns the horrific murder of a Durban woman and brutal attack on her family:

Al Jama-ah Party is deeply saddened and horrified by the brutal murder of Mrs Halima Hoosen and the attack on her family at their Glenwood home in Durban on Sunday 02 June 2024.

It is believed that Ms Hoosen and her family were attacked because of their support for Palestine.

The party says the most brutal and cruelest behavior ever seen in this civilization perpetrated by Zionists against Palestinians, has played out in Durban, South Africa; the latest target being the atrocious murder of a Muslim women, Martyr Halima Hoosen and the brutal stabbings of her husband and son.

“We fear a retaliation like never seen before in South Africa. We call on the Jewish community to come out strongly against the brutality of one of their kind. To the Zionist murderer and likes like him in South Africa, know that we will use all our power in all spheres of government to see that justice will prevail for the murder of Mrs Hoosen, the brutal attacks of her husband and son as well as the Zionist regime’s genocidal acts of Palestinians,” says the party’s re-elected Member to Parliament, Hon Ganief Hendricks.

Al Jama-ah calls on the South African justice system that this Zionist murderer and all other South Africans serving in the Israeli Defence Force feel the full might of the Law for their genocidal crimes. “We further call on the South African Jewish Board of Deputies to condemn acts of hate crime against pro-Palestine supporters. Muslims pride themselves to be the most peace-loving community in South Africa and want to continue this way,” says Hendricks.

Al Jama-ah extend its deepest condolences to the Hoosen family. We pray to the Almighty to grant her the highest stage in paradise and a speedy recovery to the rest of the family. We have no doubt that Mrs Hoosen has joined the martyrs of Gaza and Rafah.
