PR Councillor Thapelo Amad celebrates World Humanitarian Day.
He thanks Ashraful Aid and their donors for providing food parcels in ward 10, Protea South.
Al jama-ah Gauteng chairperson Thapelo Amad works hand in hand with Ashraful Aid to secure programs to fight the hunger in disadvantaged areas.
Thapelo Amad goes further in saying” We need to champion an agenda to fight against poverty and we need to fight crime. If we care about society, we need to ensure that there isn’t a stomach that goes to bed hungry. That will at least to a certain degree eradicate crime and fight or combat poverty.
Ashraful Aid has identified a community of Protea South which is poverty stricken and specially marginalised. They identified and saw a need to go to the community and provide the hampers for aid in the community.
So a special thanks to Ashraful Aid and a special thanks to the donors who are at Ashraful Aid to ensure that the vehicle of Ashraful Aid is the one that is championing the agenda to eradicate poverty and crime in our society.
Shukran. May Allah feed the ones who are feeding us. May Allah quench the ones who are quenching us. Insha-allah.Ameen”
