This Women’s Day, Aljama-ah embraced the theme of ‘Giving Back to the Community’ by visiting 4 homes in Mitchell’s Plain that care for over 30 children.
We donated toiletries and chocolates to support these amazing young ones. Ramla Ruwa Aljama-ah’s youngest party list candidate and chairperson for the Aljama-ah youth league headed this project. Aljama-ah would like to thank Saleem and Yasmin. They are supporters of Aljama-ah who assisted with the donations.
As a women’s month initiative,Al Jama-ah assisted senior citizens in New Horizons and Pelican Park. These senior citizens are only dependent on a Sassa Pension to meet their basic needs.
