Al Jama-ah tells LGBTQI+ groups to stop forcing its practices on society

Al Jama-ah calls on government to dismiss any proposals by LGBTQI+ community from being included in the revised White Paper on Family Life; the basic reason is that the group wants to deliberately redefine family according to its definition.

Deputy President Paul Mashatile recently stated in Parliament that due to social ills that the country is grappling with because of ‘weak family system’ or families who have disintegrated, government will table a revised White Paper on family during this financial year.

Al Jama-ah Party supports the idea since family as understood in the global traditional sense is the fundamental structure of every society – past, present, and the future.

However, like, several other parties, it respects everyone; but, when groups like LGBTQI+ and Zionists show disrespect to others, then it draws a clear line. These lines are not prejudicial in any sense, but they are based on a divine system that disseminate ethico- moral values; and these, they have been arrogantly and blatantly disregarded.

We further take cognisance of major businesses such as Woolworths that have adopted an arrogant ‘hard-right’ come out supporting LGBTQI+ campaigns without considering the rightful views of the majority; instead of perpetuating normal descent practices, it deliberately chose to make this ‘abnormality normal and socially acceptable.’ Woolworths’ decision makers and others conveniently call it’s approach an act of “Justice Initiative;” now this so-called “Justice Initiative” act seems to be applied in a biased manner by companies such as Woolworths. The act, for the record, can easily be applied to many other legitimate social causes without infringing on communities’ moral and religious values.

In the same breath, it is rather disturbing to see that the DA-run Western Cape Education Department (WCED) intends to spend its already sparsely resources allocated to schools on promoting LGBTQI+ ideas. Even though the LGBTQI+ beliefs and acts negate not only religious scriptures and social history, but it also counters basic biology; a scientific fact that has proven that male and females are two separate genders. It seemingly supports the queer view that our children and the generations to be taught that gender is a flexible ‘social construct’.

The DA, as far as is known, has readily embraced the LGBTQI+ agenda without critically thinking about its consequences; this includes, inter alia, the eradication of parental

control over some of the most important and defining decisions in children’s lives. Al Jama-ah thus raises the question: Who gives this political party the right to decide on all of us as citizens?

One of the objectives of the revisioning of the White Paper is to provide guidelines and strategies for promoting ‘family life’ and strengthening family ties.

“The DA’s WCED Draft Guidelines on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation in Public Schools in the Western Cape, goes against the promotion of family life and strengthening the family,” says Al Jama-ah’s leader and Member of Parliament Hon Ganief Hendricks. In a supplementary question to the Deputy President, Hendricks requested that the White Paper includes the important role of fatherhood as well.

All of us are aware that in the United States of America, legislation on LGBTQ+ are encroaching on family households where minors are taking their parents to court for refusing them to undergo gender transition operation. Many youths are demanding that their parents accept their same-sex boyfriends, girlfriends, or spouses. These are practices that undermine our cultural and religious identities; and on top of this, they undoubtedly affect our God-given dignity!

Al Jama-ah is thus alarmed at the increasing campaigns both in the business sectors and educational institutions to enforce questionable behaviour patterns under the notion of ‘normalising’ the LGBTQ+ agenda.

We, therefore, use this opportunity to call on all South Africans to revolt against post- modernist domination of business practices and higher educational methods, and it’s gradual, systematic destruction of traditional God-given norms and values; their devious methods are a direct destructive onslaught on all Abrahamic faiths and many cultural communities that accept and reinforce ubuntu!
